Duration: 10 days / 9 nights
~Arrival to Addis Ababa Bole International airport and transfer to a suggested hotel for a check-in. In the afternoon; visit the National museum, the Holly Trinity cathedral, and Merkato -the biggest open market in Africa. Overnight in a hotel.
~Early morning, we will be driving to Goba via Assela. Admiring on the way the beautiful landscape of the countryside. Overnight in a hotel.
~In the morning, we drive to Dinsho (where the headquarter of Bale Mountains National park is located) and visit the wildlife in an activity of a 2 hours hiking. Drive back to Goba and after having a lunch, we drive on an ascent to Mount Tulu Dimtu (4377 m.a.s.l, where we take our chances to spot the endemic Abyssinia Wolf). Overnight in a hotel (Goba).
~Drive to Hawassa via Wondogenet (with a possible stop at the natural hot springs), and we can have an optional walking activity around Lake Hawassa. Overnight in a hotel.
~Drive to Arba Minch, visiting on the way the Dorze peoples culture (known for weaving a cotton made traditional dresses) at the village of Hayzo. Overnight in a hotel.
~Early morning, we take a boat on Lake Chamo for a visit of -the giant crocodiles, hippopotamus, and some of the aquatic birds. Then we proceed driving to Turmi via Karat and visiting on the way the Konso peoples culture (known for the terracing system as they harvest on the mountains). Overnight in a hotel.
~In the morning, we drive to Omorate and visit the Dassanech tribe after crossing the Omo river by a locally made canoe. Drive back to Turmi and late afternoon, visit the Hamer tribe (known for the Bull jumping ceremony). Overnight in a hotel.
~On this day -we drive to Jinka, visiting on the way the Banna tribe at Keyafer. Overnight in a hotel.
~Early morning, we will be driving to the village of Olikore passing through Mago National park for a visit of the Mursi tribe (known for the bigger clay made plates worn by the women). Drive back to Jinka and have a lunch. Mid-afternoon, visit the Ari tribe. Overnight in a hotel.
~In the morning, visit the South Omo cultural museum and transfer to the airport for an internal scheduled flight destined to Addis Ababa. A farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant marks the end of the tour.
