~ Arrival to Addis Ababa Bole International airport, greet and welcome. Transfer to a hotel for a check-in and a quick break. Before lunch, visit Merkato (the biggest open market in Africa). In the afternoon, visit the National museum and Entoto Park. Overnight in a suggested hotel.

~ Take a morning flight to Semera. Then proceed driving to Lake Afdera, known for salt extraction in the country. Spend the afternoon visiting the salt production and swimming on the lake. Overnight camping at Afdera.

~ In the morning, drive to Mt. Erta'ale (630 meters above sea level). Take a break. Late afternoon, at 6 PM, start hiking up to Mt. Erta'ale for about three hours and spend the night admiring the beautiful lava spitting upwards to the maximum height of 60 meters. Overnight camping at Mt. Erta'ale.

~ Early morning, at 4 AM, start returning back on a descent to Askoma, where the cars and staffs are parked. After breakfast, drive back to Semera, visiting on the way the amazing nature of Alalobed thermal and hot springs. Overnight in a suggested hotel.

~ Drive to Awash, visiting on the way the culturally rich Afar tribe. Overnight in a suggested hotel.

~ Early morning, take a game drive within Awash National Park and visit the wildlife. Then proceed driving to the hot spring and spend a beautiful afternoon. Drive back to town and overnight in a suggested hotel.

~ Drive to Harar (300kms), admiring on the beautiful scenery and landscape of the Eastern highlands. Overnight in a suggested hotel.

~ A whole day visit of the oldest historic city of Harar. Visiting the colorful market, the museums and the houses of the Harari people. In the evening, visit the man known for feeding the wild hyenas. Overnight in a suggested hotel.

~ Drive early morning to Dire Dawa, and take a flight to Addis Ababa. Spend the day visiting the Holy Trinity cathedral and some souvenirs shop. A farewell dinner at a cultural restaurant marks the end of the tour.
