Aksum – referred to be a Holy city by the Ethiopian Orthodox Christians, is home to Ethiopia’s three millenial historical records. Founded during the 10th century BC by Queen Makeda (queen of Sheba/the Sabean), the city has a lot of heritages to offer to its visitors which can take you back to thousands of years of amazement. The palaces and tombs uncovered by the archaeologists, and the still standing giant Obelisks are part of the attractions to visit.
